VISAS
CITIZENS OF OTHER NATIONALITIES REQUIRING VISA TO BRAZIL

BUSINESS VISA FOR BRAZIL

THE VISA IS NOT A RIGHT BUT A CONCESSION FROM THE COUNTRY THAT IS GRANTING IT.

This Consulate may have to keep the passport for analysis and/or consultation with Brazilian authorities for a period of at least 20 days.

TIME REQUIRED TO PROCESS A BUSINESS VISA: 3 working days.

Visa Requirements:

1) Presentation of EMPLOYEMENT CONTRACT (notarized copy) or Earning Statement (pay check);

2) DNI or other proof of residence in Argentina;

3) PASSPORT valid for at least six months ahead;

4) 01 PASSPORT SIZE PHOTO (updated);

5) A ROUNDTRIP TICKET TO BRAZIL;

6) Two LETTERS, one FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOU ARE VISITING IN BRAZIL and another FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOU WORK FOR, WITH THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

a) indication of the applicant's employement status (job position on the company);

b)  clearly stating the precise nature of business and activities to be performed in Brazil;

c) duration of stay;

d) names of contac persons in Brazil;

e) ensurance of the company's responsibility for the applicant's expenses and activities whenever in Brazil and declaration that the person who travels will not receive any kind of pay from a Brazilian source;

f) the letter must be on an official company letterhead or stationary and signed by a high-ranking official (other than the applicant) entitled to commit the company to the trustworthiness of all the statements in it.

g) If the applicant is self-employed, an additional letter will be required from the bank containing financial references.

7) A VISA APPLICATION FORM filled out (in a unique page) and signed by the applicant;

An extra processing fee is being charged to U.S. citizens and UK citizens in reciprocity for fee paid by Brazilian citizens who apply for a business visa for the U.S.A. and United Kingdom. Click on "Emolumentos/Aranceles" on the front page to check updated prices.

Notes:
The Consulate will charge, by force of law, for every visa application that is not presented by the applicant. Click on "Emolumentos/Aranceles" on the front page to check updated prices.

The Consular authority may require a personal interview with the passport bearer.

The Consular authority may ask for additional information and/or documents whenever judged necessary.

Note: According to the Brazilian Federal Police, 90 days is your maximum lenght of stay in Brazil if you are under this type of visa. Your stay can be extended for 90 more days.
