Required documents:

PASSPORT, valid for at least 6 (six) months.

One recent individual passport size photograph (2”x2”), front view, full face, taken against a white background - no white clothing

TICKET IN AND OUT BRAZIL.

PROOF OF HOTEL RESERVATION.

A BANK STATEMENT (checking &/or savings account) - of the last 90 days - and the account's balance of the day of the visa application. The statement must identify the account holder.

CREDIT CARDS (original and a copy). If the applicant does not have a bank statement or a credit card, it is mandatory to present "TRAVELERS CHECKS".

The Consulate can request a proof of employment (work contract or a letter form the employer)

VISA FOR MINORS (UNDER 18 YEARS OLD):

The above mentioned documents.

The visa for minors must be applied for by both parents or by the father or the mother duly authorized by the other parent. The authorization must be legalized by Brazilian consular authority in the country of issuance.

Birth certificate/unabridged (original and copy).

Parent's documents (original and copy).

THE CONSULATE GENERAL CAN ASK FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS AND/OR INFORMATIONS IF NECESSARY.

Visas are processed in 72 hours or 3 working days, counted as from the payment of the consular fees.
