THE VISA IS NOT A RIGHT. THE ISSUANCE OR DENIAL OF A VISA IS THE ACT OF A SOVEREIGN STATE
Please read the following steps to request a visa in this Consulate:
2.1) Each passenger must schedule an appointment on the following link:
Walk-ins without an appointment will not be served and will have to come back on the day of their appointments.
2.2) Fill out the online visa request form:
It's important to fill out all requested fields. You can either bring the printed form or just the protocol number.
2.3) On the day of your interview you must bring the following documents:
2.3.1) 1 4x4 (passport size) photo, white background, no white clothing
2.3.2) Passport with a validity of at least six months
2.3.3) Bank statement (cheking or savings) or credit card(s)
2.3.4) Flight or bus ticket in and out of Brazil. If traveling by car, the owner of the vehicle must write a statement with all the vehicle data and the itinerary
2.3.5) Hotel or cruise reservation. In case you're staying with friend or family, you must write in the host's contact information on the online form (step 2.2)
2.3.6) If the passenger is a resident of Argentina, you must present original and a copy of the DNI. If you're a tourist, you must present the entry stamp on your passport.
2.4) After the interview you must pay the Consular fee (Information on link "Consular Fees".)
2.5) If the passenger is a minor, both parents must be present and bring along original and a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the parents' passport. If the minor is a resident of Argentina, you must bring original and a copy of the DNI plus all the docuements detailed in 2.3 (In name of one or both parents). The minor's presence is not required.

Please be advised that only passengers with appointments will be served. In view of this we respectfully but firmly request passengersnot to show up at the Consulate to request a visa, so as to avoid delays both to the staff and to passengers with appointments.
